Should we remove MagpieRSS from the requirements? Does it make sense, since it is included in the distribution? --Marco 18:36, 29 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Definitely. Done!! --sameer 19:10, 29 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Sunflower icon

This should probably be replaced by the Gregarius icon, in order to better "brand" the wiki. --Martey 07:16, 18 Aug 2005 (CEST)

Speaking of which... I think Gregarius could use a real logo. --mbi 09:49, 19 Aug 2005 (CEST)

Report bug

The button "Tag edit" does not function in Opera

Please do not report bugs here. Use http://svn.gregarius.net/trac/newticket --sameer 04:47, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST)

ok. thanks.

spam protection

Protected Main Page from wiki-spam. Also protected Help:Contents. I think the ideal solution would be to require people to create an account before editing.

Definitely. Done. --Marco 08:13, 20 Oct 2005 (CEST)

Damn. Now they are creating accounts :) Maybe a catchpa to prove that you are a human would be a good idea. Mediawiki seems to have no mention of these. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Anti-spam_Features --sameer 05:02, 21 Oct 2005 (CEST)

Should we prevent non-admins from editing too? (Not even sure this can be done) --Marco 07:37, 21 Oct 2005 (CEST)

I would prefer not to do that. Let us see what happens in a few days/weeks. --sameer 14:42, 21 Oct 2005 (CEST)

I guess we got our answer. Is there some sort of catchpa or something we can do so that people can prove they are human when they sign up for an account? --sameer 03:15, 14 Nov 2005 (CET)

There is a captcha hack for mediawiki here. Will see if this can be used on our wiki too. --Marco 06:51, 15 Nov 2005 (CET)

I don't think we want to put in a catchpa for every edit. I think one to prevent logins would enough, since we require users to be logged in before editing. --sameer 14:41, 15 Nov 2005 (CET)

Just testing out the catchpa system as a test user. --Test user 04:24, 16 Nov 2005 (CET) (aka sameer)

The catchpa system seems to work well. If you are a sysop, you can just ignore it. Maybe we can add a litte line to the code which says that if you plan to help editing the wiki, we can make you a sysop? --sameer 04:35, 16 Nov 2005 (CET)

Anyone who plans to edit the wiki will be made into a sysop. Please post a message on my talk page if you have been active on the forums or post a message to the Gregarius-docs <gregarius-docs@sinless.org> mailing list --sameer 19:16, 21 Nov 2005 (CET)
