OPML

OPML is a XML-based format for outlines. Gregarius uses OPML to import and export feeds.

Warning : Importing an OPML file in some older versions of Gregarius will first remove all your existing feeds - see Bug #85 for details. This is fixed as of SVN changeset 750 but will still affect anything up to and including release 0.5.0a. Check the Sourceforge download page to see if there's a newer release.

To import OPML files into Gregarius, you must have access to the Administrative section of your Gregarius installation.

Enter the OPML subsection of the administrative section.
Either input an URL where OPML file is stored or select an OPML file from your computer (by selecting the Browse button).

To access exported OPML files, simply go to http://<your gregarius url>/opml (example: http://rss.gregarius.net/opml)

However, if you're using any form of password protection on your site AND you have feeds marked as private, this file will not include those feeds marked as private unless you've first logged in.

To access the full OPML file, you can also (if you have logged in) access this file through the Administrative section of your Gregarius installation.
